The annual Hampton and LEH Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair brought together bright sparks from across the year groups each showcasing their innovations and inventions.

A total of 15 teams — with Hamptonians from First Year to Fifth Year — presented an impressive range of projects. Highlights included an AI‑powered drone designed to disperse seeds over dry grassland, a wind tunnel built to analyse the coefficient of friction on modern passenger aircraft, and an investigation into how much electricity common household appliances really use.

It was a fascinating showcase of fresh thinking and problem‑solving. Congratulations to all our budding scientists and engineers whose inventions aim to answer the questions of tomorrow.
