Senior Hamptonians swapped their textbooks for snow-capped peaks as they embarked on an unforgettable skiing adventure in Passo Tonale, nestled in the stunning Dolomites of Northern Italy.

A group of 45 pupils from Fourth Year to Upper Sixth enjoyed a week on the slopes, with abilities ranging from complete beginners to seasoned skiers. Early tumbles for the novices soon gave way to confident runs, while the advanced groups tackled more challenging pistes across the resort. The weather was spectacular for much of the trip, with crisp blue skies and breathtaking views of the Italian Alps. High above the clouds, the conditions were perfect for skiing, and the glacier at 3,000m provided an exhilarating test for all. A highlight for many was the final evening’s night skiing, when Hamptonians had the unique opportunity to glide under the floodlights.

After action-packed days on the slopes, the Hamptonians enjoyed authentic Italian cuisine and plenty of time to relax and recharge. It was a week filled with adventure, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories in one of Europe’s most beautiful winter destinations.
