The Hammond Theatre came alive as 60 talented new Hamptonians took centre stage for the annual New Pupils’ Concert. This much-anticipated event offered parents and staff a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an evening of exceptional music-making from our newest members of the School community.

Performers presented a vibrant and varied programme, moving seamlessly from the elegance of Haydn and Mozart to the energy of Blur and Metallica. The eclectic setlist showcased an impressive range of instruments, including the bassoon, trumpet, electric guitar, sitar and drums, reflecting the breadth of musical talent among our pupils.

Organiser and music teacher Mr James Ferrier commended the young musicians for their confident debut in the Hammond Theatre:

I was absolutely blown away by the talent on display across a wide range of styles and instruments. Well done to all those involved for overcoming those performance nerves and producing such a wonderful concert. Many of the pupils performing were stepping onto the Hammond stage for the first time, and I hope they will be making many more appearances in the years to come – the future of Hampton music is in safe hands!
