A group of 29 intrepid Second Year Hamptonians travelled to Poole, home to Europe’s largest natural harbour, for an exhilarating weekend of water-based adventure.
Although the weather was a mix of sunshine and showers, the boys embraced a wide range of activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. Despite the refreshing chill of the water, wetsuits and plenty of laughter ensured spirits remained high. Once they had found their sea legs, the Hamptonians relished the chance to test their skills and confidence on the waves.
Evenings were no less lively, with Hamptonians showing off their musical knowledge in a fiercely contested quiz. The rounds quickly turned into a lively sing-along, with plenty of enthusiastic dancing and some surprisingly impressive performances! The weekend was a memorable blend of challenge, teamwork and fun, leaving the pupils with lasting friendships and stories to share back at School.
