Hampton School was buzzing with brainpower as young mathematicians from 14 local primary schools joined us for the hotly anticipated Maths Wizard Challenge 2025.
Year Five teams battled it out across five fiendish rounds, testing their number-crunching skills to the limit. From puzzling through the Always, Sometimes, Never round to cracking secret codes in Symbols, our young mathematicians showed off sharp thinking, clever strategies and fantastic teamwork. The contest built to a nail-biting finale in the group challenge, where pupils combined their skills to tackle some seriously tricky problems.
Congratulations to all the participants, who impressed with their impressive number skills. A big well done to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School (third place), Latchmere School (second place), and this year’s champions – Hampton Hill Junior School – who claimed the coveted Maths Wizard Trophy 2025.
Well done to all our budding mathematicians on a fantastic morning of problem-solving!
