A memorable season for the U15As has seen them reach both their ISFA and ESFA finals.
It is the first time in recent history that a Hampton team has achieved the double.
The Fourth Year team was cheered on by over 120 Hampton supporters who travelled to Burton Albion FC to offer full-voiced support during the U15 ISFA final against Aldenham School. On that occasion, Aldenham prevailed but a few weeks later, facing the same opposition, it was Hampton’s turn to enjoy the win. It was a match which showcased the squad’s mental toughness and work rate after they came back from 2-0 down to win the match in extra time 5-2.
Their ESFA final will be held at The Hawthorns, home ground of West Bromwich Albion FC, in the summer term. Coach, Mr Dom Boyes, congratulated his players:
I’m delighted that the squad’s hard work continues to be rewarded with another National Final to look forward to. A talented group of players, they continue to do us proud with their dedication, sportsmanship, and team spirit. On to the final!
