The Hampton School Woodwind Concert showcased the breadth of talent from musicians across the year groups, as they entertained an appreciative Hammond Theatre audience in the annual concert.

The ensembles performing ranged from the Clarinet Ensemble to the Wind Quintet, as well as The Reeders, a group comprised of First and Second Year musicians. There were also many accomplished solo performances throughout the evening, with new First Years taking to the stage alongside Sixth Form musicians.

The Reeders played a fast-paced rendition of Charade by Henri Mancini, our Wind Quintet performed Rasmusen’s Quintet in F Major Andante Cantabile with aplomb, whilst the Clarinet Ensemble ended the concert with Terence Thompson’s rhythmic Suite: City Scenes superbly performed our senior clarinetists.
