Well done to everyone for making it through another busy and successful Half term at Hampton! We hope everyone has enjoyed their Mufti Day too! The Third Years had some time during their Monday Form period to access and download their Revision guides from Firefly and continue their own personal revision. On Thursday during PSHE we discussed personal safety and risk taking when out in public and the best options to take when faced with difficult decisions to make. Here are some other highlights from the week:

Third Year Special mentions

Well done to Sam B for presenting his play “Skool Life” in the Drama Hall on Thursday. He prepared this for his Silver Arts Award Unit 1 project with a number of other 3rd Year boys playing in the various roles.

Summer Picnic

We hope that many of you will be able to attend the HSPA Summer Picnic on Sunday 23 June for what promises to be an enjoyable afternoon for our School community.

National Schools’ Regatta

Good luck to all our J14 Crews competing at National Schools’ Regatta this weekend. Here’s what Mr Saul has to say on the event:

Three boats: ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ racing at Dorney Lake. We will be racing against 29 other crews for the A boat and 26 other crews for the B/C boats from across the UK and Ireland. The time trial begins at 1.10 – 1.55pm and then the final commences this evening.

Every May over 5,000 competitors race over three days. The racing is competitive, fast, and fun. It is a great weekend for competitors and spectators. National Schools’ Regatta was established in 1947 to offer a valuable racing experience to a wide range of junior crews.
