Children from 12 local primary schools immersed themselves in a world of imagination at Hampton’s inaugural Creative Writing Workshop.

Putting their literary skills to the test, each team was provided with a ‘cabinet of curiosities’ ranging from feathers to gems. The primary school pupils let their imaginations run wild, writing a range of fascinating tales based around one of the objects. The stories were then read out loud to the large audience of pupils, teachers and parents.

In recognition of their literary skills, each child was presented with a certificate and goody bag by Hampton School Headmaster, Mr Kevin Knibbs. Well done to all who took part!
