Upper Sixth Chemists have impressed yet again in the UK Chemistry Olympiad
Last term, 17 A-level Chemistry pupils took part in Round 1 of the UK Chemistry Olympiad. Across the country, almost 6000 students participated in the competition, with the top 458 (7.9%) of candidates receiving a Gold Certificate. Four Hampton students achieved this feat – Daniel Smith, Aaron Jones, Fintan Smyth and Srinand Sundaram.
With an additional 11 students obtaining a Silver Certificate and two Bronzes, the boys matched last year’s School record!
