Upper Sixth pupil Seb H-T has been selected to represent Poland at the Rugby Europe U18 Championship, which will take place in Prague this autumn.
The talented hooker has enjoyed an outstanding season for Hampton and recently captained the School’s First XV at the prestigious St Joseph’s Festival, one of the leading school rugby competitions in the country. His selection for the Polish national squad is recognition of the hard work, commitment and leadership he has consistently displayed both on and off the field.
Representing his country at international level marks an exciting milestone in Seb’s rugby journey and provides an opportunity to compete against some of Europe’s most promising young players.
Everyone at Hampton School congratulates Seb on this impressive achievement and wishes him every success at the Championship in Prague.
Mr Andy Beattie, Director of Rugby, congratulated Seb on his achievement:
Seb’s selection for the Poland U18 squad is a thoroughly deserved reward. He has been an outstanding ambassador for the School, leading the First XV with distinction at St Joseph’s, and we are delighted to see him earn the opportunity to represent his country on the international stage. We wish Seb every success in Prague.
