There are several opportunities for our parents to get involved with life at the School, which are listed below. All the termly activities are listed in the School Calendar and you may find that the filter option is helpful when selecting areas of particular interest to you.
There are a number of thriving parent associations across Hampton School and we warmly encourage you to join if they are of interest to you. In addition, you can join music and drama performances, lecture series, sports fixtures and much more.
Parent Groups
Hampton has two dedicated parent associations, each supporting a different stage of school life.
The Hampton School Parents’ Association (HSPA) supports families in the Senior School, bringing parents together through social events, fundraising and volunteering. The Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep Parents’ Association (HPPA) provides the same sense of community for Pre-Prep and Prep families, organising events and raising funds to enhance the school experience. All parents automatically become members of the relevant association when their child joins the School, with plenty of opportunities to get involved. Learn more about each association below.
Hampton School’s Music Society is a great opportunity to support music at the School.
The Society (HSMS) supports the Senior School’s outstanding musical life by helping to fund concerts, performances, tours, scholarships and other initiatives that enrich pupils’ musical experiences. Open to all parents, whether or not their son studies music, the Society is united by a shared appreciation of the value of music and a desire to support Hampton’s musicians.
Run by a committee of parent volunteers, the HSMS also helps organise events throughout the year and offers members early access to ticket sales, newsletters and occasional social events.
New members and committee volunteers are always welcome.
Open to all rowing parents at Hampton and LEH, the Boat Club Association is a vibrant group of parents who help at rowing events and fundraise for the sport.
The Hampton and Holles Boat Club Association (HHBCA) supports rowing across both schools by raising funds, organising social events and providing practical information and support for parents throughout the rowing season. Popular events include the Quiz Night, Summer BBQ, Annual Dinner and refreshments at the Hampton Heads.
Run by a committee of parent volunteers, the HHBCA keeps families informed through squad representatives, WhatsApp, email and social media. New volunteers are always welcome, and club merchandise is available to purchase throughout the year and at events.
Drama & Music
Hampton’s Music and Drama departments stage a broad range of exceptional performances each year; these can be found in the School Calendar.
