Audiences were treated to four nights of spectacular entertainment as Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles School joined forces for this year’s Senior School Musical, The Addams Family.

Featuring a talented cast, orchestra and backstage crew from both schools, the production showcased outstanding acting, singing and dancing, bringing the delightfully dark and eccentric world of the Addams family to life on stage.

The musical follows Gomez Addams as he finds himself caught between his devotion to his family and a promise he has made to his daughter, Wednesday. When Wednesday reveals that she is engaged to a young man from a very different background, Gomez must keep her secret from his wife, Morticia, a challenge that proves easier said than done. As the two families come together for an eventful dinner party, misunderstandings multiply, tensions rise and chaos ensues, delivering plenty of laughs along the way.

Months of rehearsals culminated in four memorable performances at LEH, with pupils delivering impressive musical numbers, energetic choreography and standout character portrayals. Supported by a live orchestra, the show was a true celebration of creativity, collaboration and theatrical talent.

The annual joint musical is a highlight of the co-curricular calendar, offering pupils from both schools the opportunity to work together, develop their performance skills and forge new friendships. From the opening number to the final curtain call, The Addams Family captivated audiences with its humour, heart and unforgettable score.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this wonderfully entertaining production to the stage.
