Preparing for the Next Stage
As part of the Hampton School Trust, the majority of boys transfer seamlessly to Hampton Prep at the end of Year 2 via the 7+, providing a clear and continuous pathway through to Hampton School (11–18).
We work closely with the families of our girls to understand the setting that will suit them best as they move on to a range of leading schools at 7+, including Hampton’s neighbour, LEH.
Our experienced Pre-Prep teachers ensure that every child is fully supported, confident and well-prepared for the 7+ process, both academically and pastorally.
For most pupils progressing from Pre-Prep to Prep, a structured programme of summer term transition activities helps to ensure a smooth move into Year 3. These carefully planned events allow children to become familiar with new staff, routines and surroundings, helping them approach the next stage of their school journey with confidence and ease.
