Congratulations to Upper Sixth Formers Jack and Aiden, who have enjoyed international success on the water after helping Great Britain claim Gold at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The two Hamptonians were part of the victorious British team, which finished ahead of the USA and Germany, to secure the World Championship title.
The result marks a third successive World Championship victory for Great Britain and continues an impressive run of success for Hampton rowing on the international stage. Jack and Aiden’s triumph brings the number of World Championship Gold Medals won by Hampton rowers over the past three years to five.
Both rowers look forward to another year at the Hampton Boat Club, with the National Schools’ Regatta and Henley Royal Regatta among the highlights to look forward to next year.
