House Football brought plenty of energy, fierce competition and House spirit, as the boys took to the pitches for one of the highlights of the sporting calendar.
With overnight rain softening the ground before giving way to glorious sunshine, conditions were perfect for an afternoon of football. Excitement was high as the Houses gathered, ready to represent their teams and battle it out for the coveted trophy. Across all the pitches, there was plenty of action, with every team giving it their all and showing fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. The standard of football was impressive throughout, with some excellent passing, skilful play and plenty of closely contested matches.
With this being his final House Competition, Mr Ford had the honour of presenting the trophy to the winning House. After an afternoon of fantastic football, it was York who came out on top, taking home the House Football trophy for 2026!
Congratulations to York, and well done to all the boys who took part and made it such an enjoyable competition!
