Hampton has three on-site School counsellors who provide support for pupils and colleagues when needed.
Hampton has a friendly and thriving Common Room with social events held throughout the year.
Hampton colleagues are invited to join the renowned Hampton and Lady Eleanor Holles Choral Society and there is a wide range of music, drama and dance performances staged at the School, all of which colleagues are welcome to attend. The Hammond Theatre also regularly streams performances from the National Theatre Live and Royal Opera House, for which discounted tickets are available to staff.
There are also weekly five-a-side staff football matches, social tennis, running, book club and weekly yoga classes.
The Common Room is a warm and friendly place for catching up with colleagues, enjoying a hot drink and snack or relaxing with a newspaper and sharing the morning crossword challenge.
Freshly prepared lunches are served to all colleagues in the Hampton Dining Room free of charge. There is a selection of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian and vegan options and an extensive salad bar. For busy times, there’s also the option of pre-order grab and go options.
Subsidised breakfast options are also available before School.
There is free on-site parking for Hampton members of staff for those arriving by two or four wheels. Hampton encourages as many pupils and staff members to travel to School sustainably as possible.
- Bike Racks: Sheffield Stands across both School sites ensure that there is safe, undercover parking for over 200 bikes.
- Cycle to Work Scheme: This is available to all Hampton School Trust employees on a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract or permanent contract. (subject to eligibility)
Partnerships with local bike shops ensure discounts and on-site service collections are available to all staff.
Electric charging points are available on-site and the School is committed to increasing these in the coming years.
The School offers an interest-free loan scheme to permanent members of the Common Room (subject to eligibility).
Many members of the Hampton Common Room benefit from taking a sabbatical while working with the School. Sabbaticals are available to all Hampton School teaching and support staff, subject to the terms of the Sabbatical Policy in place at the time of application.
