Hampton musicians from across all year groups dazzled audience members in the annual String Concert.

Over 20 boys showcased their talents on a wide variety of instruments including the violin, cello, guitar and double bass. With music from a broad range of artists and composers across all periods, there was something for everyone.

Head of Academic Music, Mrs Elizabeth Esser, praised the boys for their performances:

It was a real treat for boys, staff and parents alike to hear music of this calibre.

Some of the highlights included a performance of Abreu’s Tico Tico by the Chamber Orchestra as well as a rendition of the fourth movement of Schubert’s ‘Trout’ Piano Quintet in A Major by some of Hampton School’s instrumental teachers.
