The Wakeboarding Club takes place at Thorpe Lakes in Chertsey on a weekly basis. This exciting water sport uses a cable system to tow riders around the perimeter of the lake, whilst riding a wakeboard. A very physical and fun activity, wakeboarding helps the boys to develop their fine motor skills of balance and coordination and body awareness, whilst also developing strength and other attributes of fitness.
After mastering the basic skills of riding the boys are able to take their KASA (Kickers and sliders accreditation), allowing them to use a variety of ramps, rails and other floating obstacles. With many National, European and World title-level riders, and top coaching, available at the lake, the dedicated boys have plenty of opportunity ahead in this dynamic sport.
