The Hampton Rock Concert saw over 30 artists and bands performing to a packed crowd in The Hammond Theatre.
The show opened with the Junior Rock Band who performed their rendition of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell and David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, followed by First Year, Felix von der Geest’s performance of an original song, You’re in Love
The concert showcased the wide range of musical talent at Hampton, from Will Priddis’ DJ performance to Bruno Dimitroff’s piano cover of Imagine by John Lennon.
There was an electric atmosphere throughout the show and the visual and special effects helped contribute to a spectacular evening of music.
Music Teacher, Mrs Elizabeth Esser congratulated all those involved in the concert:
This was the first concert that I have organised since joining Hampton, and the atmosphere on stage, back stage, and in the audience was electric. None of this would have been possible without the invaluable help of the Hammond Team, the Sound Engineers and many of the staff from the Music Department. The final word must go to the boys themselves, however, who pulled off a really fabulous concert!
