Lawrence Power at Hampton


Hampton School is delighted to be hosting a recital by the internationally acclaimed violist Lawrence Power, on Thursday 8 March at 7.30pm in the Hammond Theatre. Lawrence Power is one of today’s foremost violists, in demand worldwide as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber music partner.

He is regular guest performer with orchestras of the highest calibre, from the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, Royal Concertgebouw, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Stockholm, Bergen and Warsaw Philharmonic orchestras to the Philharmonia, BBC Scottish Symphony and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras.

Tickets for the evening recital are free for anyone under the age of 18 years.  Adults: £12.00, Concessions, £10.00

Lawrence Power Master Class

During the afternoon of the 8 March, Lawrence Power will be giving a Strings Master Class from 2.00pm – 4.30pm in the Hammond Theatre with musicians from Hampton School and LEH. All are welcome to attend. Tickets are free and can be booked here – Lawrence Power Master Class
