The annual Hampton and LEH netball match yet again saw fierce but friendly competition between our 1st XI footballers and the mighty LEH netball team.

Wearing each other’s kits, and with some interesting techniques on show from Hampton, goals were tactically scored by both teams. After drawing 7-7 at full time the teams battled it out for the golden goal, which saw LEH claim an 8-7 victory.

The neighbouring schools came together to support, all in a good cause to raise money for Form Charity. Mrs Augusta Samuel, Form Charity Coordinator, said:

The boys demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and impressive ability, given they had only learnt the rules 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. The support from fellow pupils in the Sixth Form was wonderful, but sadly defeat was plucked from the jaws of victory.
