Hampton Hustings 2017

Hampton School is hosting a General Elections hustings for candidates of one of the most hotly contested seats in the upcoming General Election

Twickenham, firmly in the grip of the Liberal Democrats for over 17 years with former Business Secretary, Vince Cable, at the helm, was claimed by Dr Tania Mathias for the Conservatives in 2015 with a majority of 2017.  Both Dr Cable and Dr Mathias will run in this year’s election, with Labour’s Dr Katherine Dunne also in contention.

Twickenham, which voted strongly to ‘Remain’ in the European Union last year, will be watched closely by election commentators on June 8 as a barometer of the public mood. Will it indicate a return to favour by the Lib Dems, a seal of approval for the incumbent Conservative leadership or an endorsement of the Labour Party’s manifesto ?

Join us at the Hampton School Hustings on May 25, 11.15am – 12.30pm, to put forward your questions and listen to all three candidates explain their views on local and national issues.

There will be a limited number of places available. To reserve a place at the Hustings please use our online booking form below:
