Computing & Robotics Clubs
Computer Coding Club
Designing and programming robots, writing computer games and simulations are just some of the things that the Junior Coding Club gets up to. Older boys are encouraged to ‘think like a programmer’ – they learn to write using Python, design webpages and work on a series of projects using Raspberry Pi.
The computer aided design and manufacture club is open to boys in the Third Year and above and aims to develop a sophisticated use of the industry standard CAD software ‘Solidworks’. The 15-week course covers 2D and 3D computer modelling as well as use of a range of design equipment.
