Hampton’s 1st XI footballers secured their place in the Boodles ISFA Cup semi-finals, following a goal in the dying minutes of extra time against Forest School.

The game was tight from the first whistle to the last, with neither team able to break the deadlock in regulation time.

Max Matchett had a number of chances from set pieces, but was unable to find the net. Meanwhile, Forest School were dangerous on the counter attack and forced Adam Lee into making a number of important saves.

However, with just five minutes left of extra time, Will Davey pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area to win the game 1-0.

Hampton will now play Royal Russell School in the semi final, at home.
