Hampton receives recognition from The Good Schools Guide

Hampton has been recognised by school critics The Good Schools Guide for its academic achievement, receiving awards for both boys’ English and Maths.

The School has been presented with this award for out-performing all other schools in both categories. The annual awards, which are in their 10th year, are based on analysis of the most recent examination results, and are designed to highlight consistently good teaching. The English award related to teaching of Sixth Form boys and in Maths, the department was recognised for its teaching of the Free Standing Maths Qualification in the Fifth Year.

The Good Schools Guide is the largest independent guide to UK schools, containing over 1300 English schools across both the independent and state sectors. Their awards are based on a series of calculations which take into account relative popularity and performance of the subject, absolute performance, and percentage of pupils taking the subject.
