Finlay Gray wins in the 2015 British Acrobatic Championships

Second Year Hamptonian Finlay Gray followed up on last year’s success with victory at the British Acrobatic Championships, cementing his reputation as one of the finest young gymnasts in the country.

Finlay competed with his partner Frazer Windows in the 12-18 age group category.  Their success follows strong performances earlier in the summer. After completing two trials in July, Finlay has also been selected to represent Great Britain in the European Acrobatic Championships which will be held in Riesa, Germany.

In 2014 Finlay and his partner received widespread recognition as they won not only a Gold Medal in the British Open Pat Wade Classic Championships but also the World Acrobatics Championships and they have clearly brought their fine form into this year.

Finlay was pleased that all the training has paid off but is not taking his mind off his next major competition:

“Frazer and I had been working very hard on our new moves in the run up to the British Competition. We were up against tough competitors and were delighted with the result, which has given us more confidence for the preparations for the Euros in October.”
